Dr Shelley Walder

Dr Shelley Walder grew up in Geelong, where she currently lives and works.  Shelley graduated from medicine in 1998 and spent the next nine years working mainly in acute medicine (Emergency, ICU, anaesthetics) in Australia and Ireland.

After transitioning to General Practice in 2007, Shelley was introduced to skin cancer medicine and surgery by Professor Anthony Dixon at his workshops.  She worked with Professor Dixon at Skincanceronly in Belmont, Geelong from 2008 until 2009, and again from 2014 until 2018.  

Shelley undertook further qualifications in skin cancer training over this time, through ACCO.  She currently holds an Associate Fellowship with ACCO, as well as being a fellowed General Practitioner. She continues to work at Skin Cancer Plus in Belmont and treasures the long term relationships she has with many of her patients.
